Las Vegas Casinos have received the green light to resume operations starting today. Governor Steve Sisolak made the announcement last week. Casinos in Nevada have been closed since mid-March following the command by the government of a national lockdown due to COVID-19. Many other businesses across all states have begun reopening as well. Authorities have warned that although companies may open their doors, it’s not business as usual. Employers must create safe and hygienic work environments to curb the spread of the virus.
List of Las Vegas Casinos to Reopen
The reopening of Las Vegas casinos is supported by the states “Roadmap to Recovery” plan drafted by the relevant authorities. A detailed reopening and recovery plan is mandatory for submission to the state for all businesses that would like to reopen. All submissions are subject to approval and must meet the requirements outlined by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Some of the requirements include adhering to social distancing and limiting business staff to 50%.
